About Me

Hey there, lovely viewers! I'm Bell, also known as Umbhorn Ungkulpasvich, and I'm here to take you on my journey into the world of science and discovery!

I'm currently working at HIROTSU Bio Science (HBS), a top unicorn startup right here in Japan. My mission? It's a big one: I'm on a quest to develop cancer screening test using the cutie C.elegans . Imagine this: It's all about groundbreaking science meeting real-world impact.

But wait, there's more to my story! My journey through the schools of engineering - chemical (B.Eng), biological (M.Eng), and bioresource (PhD)- has been nothing short of a rollercoaster of excitement. From biohydrogel construction to massive cultivation of human stem cells and chondrocytes, my curiousity in research have been exhilarating, propelling me to explore the kingdom of bacteria .

Following my University graduation, I stepped into the realm of medical devices beginning with a cancer diagnostic test using lectin microarray (AIST), followed by drug concentration measurement (Moon creative lab), and presently cancer screening test using nematodes (HBS).

As I continue to grow and evolve in the extraordinary startup industry, I aspire to create a new innovation and progress with my strong passion and expertise to drive and contribute advancements in healthcare/biotech researches .

Please feel free to drop me a message , I'm eager to connect, collaborate, and explore new opportunities together .

My Research

(Review paper) Pancreatic Cancer and Detection Methods

Early detection is crucial for improving PC outcomes. Diagnostic methods, including imagining modalities and tissue biopsy, aid in the detection and analysis of PC. Screening is recommended for high-risk populations and individuals with potential benign tumors. Among various PC screening methods, the N-NOSE plus pancreas test offers a cost-effective solution for early detection. However, additional diagnostic tests are required for confirmation. Further research, validation, and the development of non-invasive screening methods and standardized scoring systems are crucial to enhance PC detection and improve patient outcomes.
